Dear Presenter: I have been a little bit scared to use technology (Twitter, for instance) and others. But I am tech savvy in others. I never thought I could actually present the use of these to my colleagues (I know many of them are not tech savvy, for various reasons). But that is indeed something I might do - just to earn some respect in that regard. I have previously did presentations to my boss in order to iron out difficulties in our department (not for me, but for him to use in our dept) - and it did not help me in getting promoted or being noticed. I have also, out of my own, drew up better organizational templates to use for my boss (not myjob, but I was happy to assist as I had experience); however, I was seen as cocky as if I know too much and thought my supervisors did not (they are less qualified than me). However, I have learnt in this course THE WAY in which to go about being indispensable, to do things in order to advance our dept. I will definitely create something else (I have made a list during the presentation: what I could present to my boss to share with others in order to make her logging better), to REALLY want to develop that reputation I so desperately wish to have in our workplace. Thank you for teaching me how to present. I have a great voice, but my voice is very much commanding (listening to it on the phone just now, lol!). I need to speak slower, express myself better, maybe write down my sentences and practice more. Thank you for a very interesting course so far! :-)
